How to Request Account Deletion

You can request the deletion of your account and all associated data through two methods:

Method 1: In-App (Recommended)

1. Open the QuestPly Parent Dashboard app.
2. Navigate to Settings > Account.
3. Tap on Delete Account.
4. Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the deletion.

Method 2: Email Request

1. Send an email to hi@questply.com from the email address associated with your account.
2. Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request.
3. Include your full name and a statement confirming you wish to delete your account and data.

Note: Email requests may take up to 7 business days to process.

Data Deletion & Retention

What is deleted?

Upon fulfilling your deletion request, the following data will be permanently removed from our active servers:

• Your parent account profile (name, email address).
• All child profiles associated with your account (names, nicknames, ages).
• All gameplay data, quest progress, and screen-time history.
• AI conversation history and logs.
• Custom settings and configurations.

What is kept?

We may retain certain types of data for legitimate legal or business reasons:

• Billing History: Transaction records for any subscriptions (e.g., Plus or Founder Pass) are retained for 7 years as required by tax and accounting laws.
• Aggregated/Anonymized Data: We may retain completely anonymized, non-identifiable usage statistics to help us improve the app, which cannot be linked back to you or your children.

Additional Retention Period

Once a deletion request is initiated, your active data is deleted within 30 days. However, encrypted backups of our databases may retain your data for an additional 90 days before it is permanently overwritten and destroyed. During this period, the data is completely inaccessible for operational use.
